We are delighted to announce that MIRANDA GODFREY the Historic and Vintage Food Developer and Lecturer at London’s leading culinary Arts College at Westminster Kingsway will be joining the panel of speakers at the League’s Social Issues Committee – International Women’s Day Meeting.

Miranda has developed, cooked and presented historic dishes for the BBC in a programme to be aired on television very soon. As a member of the Craft Guild of Chefs Miranda has won Gold and Silver medals nationally and internationally. She is one of 10 UK Waste Ambassadors who represent an organisation called SUSTAIN who organised the event “Feed The 5000” held in Trafalgar Square. She has had articles and recipes published in numerous printed and on-line publications.

She will talk about how the food we eat is changing, what is influencing those changes and how she sees this developing in the future from an environmental, health and cultural perspective.

Coffee 10.30 am Programme 11.00 am prompt to 1.00 pm.
