ICJW’s 16th European Conference in Athens: “Learning from the Past, inspired by the Present: ICJW prepares for the Future”

As a member of the League of Jewish Women, you are a member of the International Council of Jewish Women and therefore able to attend European Conferences.
ICJW’s 16th European Conference will be held Athens, Greece, an Ever-Changing City, with the theme: “Learning from the Past, inspired by the Present, ICJW Prepares for the Future”. This will be ICJW’s first event in the home city of its newest affiliate, ICJW Greece.
The Conference will include lectures on the history of the Jewish community of Greece, a guided tour of Athens including visits to the Synagogue and the Holocaust Monument, dinners and opportunities for socializing. The host organization is also offering options for participants to extend their visit to Athens over Shabbat, and to join guided tours of the Acropolis Museum, the Ancient Temple of Poseidon at Sounio, and the island of Aigina, with its stunning mosaic synagogue floor dating from the 4th century C.E.
